My home computer has died about two months ago, and it was a quite old machine. Although I was using the latest and greatest operating system from Apple at the time, it was not the ideal machine for that. And it was exactly while trying to update the OS that it got messed up, and never came to boot up again.
It was a PowerMac G3 machine, that was updated several times, and was using a 366 MHz G3 PowerPC chip, with the whooping amount of 640 MB of system RAM, a ATI Radeon video board with 64MB of memory, and a 80 GB hard disk.
Not bad, but far from a bleeding edge machine that it once was!
